Website add-ons and RSVP system for art gallery in downtown San Diego.
Sparks Gallery, an art gallery located in downtown San Diego with a focus on contemporary local artists, needed help with several small website upgrades. We helped them refine their existing site and add a few new features.
They also needed an RSVP system to help them manage attendees at their gallery events.
We created a RSVP form which automatically integrates with their website event posts. When someone signs up to attend an event, an email is automatically sent out with the details about their reservation using the Mandrill API. The attendee is then added to the Sparks Gallery email marketing list using the MailChimp API.
The night of the event, the Sparks Gallery staff has a digital list to check people in. As attendees arrive, the MailChimp mailing list is modified to show who came and who missed out so Sparks can create special emails targeting them after the event.
