Custom WordPress website for Kensington Guest House with Vacation Rental Booking Functionality
The owners of Kensington Guest House, a vacation rental home located in San Diego's uptown Kensington neighborhood, contacted us to create a VRBO-/Airbnb-type website for them to operate their business through.
They were tired of the fees their old management system was charging them with each booking. We created a custom solution for them that incorporates the functionality they were used to, and tailored the new system to their specific needs.
Through the front-end of the website, guests can select dates they'd like to stay at the house, see a price quote, and enter their booking information. From there, a series of automated emails are triggered.
The Kensington Guest House staff receives a booking request email, sends approval with payment information, then the guest receives a link to pay. Once payment is received, the staff triggers a confirmation email to the guest. In the days leading up to and following the guests' stay, more triggered emails are sent including reminders, stay information, and followups.
The staff can easily update photos, add guest reviews, and update other information about the guest house through the custom WordPress backend we created.
